Historically speaking, Northwestern has not been very good at football, so when they are good it's a pretty big deal. In 1995, Northwestern was pretty darn good. Darnell Autry was the face of the surprise Wildcats and it landed him in a place not many wildcats have been, the cover of Sports Illustrated.
