THE GOOD: Justin Jackson. Jackson continued his outstanding season. In a frustratingly inconsistent season so far, Jackson has consistently been great.
THE BAD: The passing game. Northwestern relied heavily on the running game. Thorson needs to show his improvement.
THE UGLY: Letting up. Northwestern let Illinois back into the game. Northwestern needs to keep up the same effort for sixty minutes if they want to win the bowl game.
